Econ-Centenary Server
The first time you run the Remote Desktop you should click Options, which expands the window with some more settings. You can put in your login name and password, and ask the system to save your password (generally not advised). You can explore the other tabs and make settings as you wish. However, one in particular is the Local Resources tab. Near the bottom of this screen is a set of options, one of which allows you to ‘see’ your local drives on your own machine while you are logged on, and therefore allows you to copy files by the usual ‘drag and drop’ method. For this to work, make sure that Disk drives is ticked. If you want to use USB sticks, you will also need to tick the Supported Plug and Play Devices option.
