Saving your work

By default the program will try to save files on the server it is running on, however its more useful to save files on your own computer. When you save files click on "Computer" at the left hand side of the window. A list of hard drives will appear, followed by a list headed "Other", these are the drives on your own computer. (It might take a few seconds for these "Other" drives to appear, try pressing "F5" to refresh the list.)

If you want to save to your Documents/My Documents folder, you need to go to:

C:\Users\[your username on your computer]\Documents (for Windows 7 and Vista)
C:\Documents and Settings\[your username on your computer]\My Documents (for Windows XP)

If you wish to open files from your computer, you will need to do something similar.

Tip: You can make a shortcut to any folder you want to use regularly by dragging the folder from the right hand side of the screen to the list on the left called "Favorites". Drop it in the space between "Desktop" and "Favorites" to make it appear at the top of this list. In future you can then go to the folder by just clicking on it in the list of favorites.
