Security
- Building
During the hours when access to the building is limited to card holders ( i.e. before 9 and and after 6 pm, be careful not to let strangers enter the building - and do not arrange to let friends in.
- Password
There a number of passwords that you need to use for different resources (Raven, Faculty, Hermes, College). All of them should be kept secret, and not revealed, or shared, with anyone else. Do not put your password in emails ( e.g. to IT support), and do not tell it to anyone.
- Personal Possessions
Do not leave personal possessions unattended at any time in any of the Computer Rooms. Laptops are very easy to steal and expensive to replace.
- AntiVirus software
The University has a licence that allows University Staff/Students to install McAfee Enterprise Anti-Virus software on personal computers. See the University Computing Service Anti-Virus Information pages for more information.
