What is ebooks@cambridge?

It is an initiative of the Cambridge College Libraries Forum and receiveds financial support from a large number of colleges and a number of faculties such as economics. It provides access to electronic versions of more than 1000 of the most heavily used books in Cambridge libraries.

Are all books available via the Newton catalogue?

No, at present those ebooks available from the Oxford Scholarship Online collection have not been loaded into Newton. They are, however, included in the title and subject lists above.

Where can I obtain further information about ebooks?

The ebooks@cambridge website has a variety of guides designed to introduce and explain ebook usage.

Recommending ebooks for purchase

Suggestions for future purchases are always welcomed. If you would like to recommend a title, please send an email to ucam-lib-ebooks@lists.cam.ac.uk and try to give as much information as possible (ISBN, author, title, publisher, publication date) and indicate whether or not there is an electronic version available.
