Open Days

Although the Economics Faculty does not organise a specific departmental Open Day for potential applicants, it participates fully in the general University Open Days held in early July. Further information about these is available from the main University Admissions website. If you are interested in visiting Cambridge before deciding whether to apply you can also contact your preferred College asking if you can attend a College Open Day. Open Days, which are usually held in June and July, are aimed at students who are in the first year of their A-level course. Full details of all College Open Days are given in the Cambridge Admissions Prospectus, or on University and College websites. Attending an Open Day will give you an opportunity to talk to Faculty members, or a College Director of Studies in Economics, about the Cambridge undergraduate course. If you only decide to apply to Cambridge after the Open Days have been held, you will usually find that Admissions Tutors and Directors of Studies will give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the Economics course during your admissions interview.
